Uptown Mixed-Use Center

This project attempts to bring to the depressed Uptown neighborhood a mixed-use, multi-property development that both fits into and advances the neighborhood. Broadway and Lawrence Streets would have 85,000 SF of retail frontage with 450 total off-street parking spaces. A community center and a combination of market-rate and low-income housing totaling (125+180) units are further integrated into the neighborhood by the relocation of the Inspiration Café and an eight classroom Continuing Education facility for retraining of the unemployed. A multi-Purpose Community Center is also included.
