Rehabilitation
Over the past 25 years, Daniel P. Coffey & Associates, Ltd., the 2003 AIA Chicago Architecture Firm of the Year, has developed a reputation for high quality, innovative work in a variety of complex and diverse areas of architecture and design. These often include rehabilitation of existing buildings and sites that may or may not include historic characteristics. It includes projects that require renewal of the quality and usefulness of the building’s envelope and structure as well as improvements to the functional plan and elements of its original design. On occasion, modifications may wholly change the character of the original structure to be more suitable to the new uses involved.
