Rock N' Roll McDonald's
50th Anniversary Restaurant
Daniel P. Coffey & Associates, Ltd., was invited by the McDonald’s Corporation to submit design concepts for the replacement of a downtown 1970’s McDonald’s with a celebratory, showplace restaurant and museum. The full block, downtown site is traversed by numerous pedestrians and significant automobile traffic. This special project was intended to mark the start of McDonald’s 50th year. A residential tower was proposed to capture additional land value at this well located downtown Chicago location.
