Millennium Arts Center

This facility was planned as the performance home to a new regional repertory group that is an outgrowth of the Actors’ Alliance Theater Company, a Michigan Conservatory and touring company. The design considers the artistic staff’s goals, allowing for a stage/auditorium relationship that emphasizes intimacy and interaction between performer and audience. The new theater will be inserted inside the walls and roof of an existing 1,400 seat 1960’s movie theater. The stage will be fully equipped and will be the highest quality performing arts venue of its type in southeastern Michigan.
